Budget Information

Receipts are required for all expenditures following procedures developed and used in the other EIF grants that ISU has administered. Money used to pay for services will be transferred to an ISU bank account in Tbilisi and withdrawn in accordance with university procedures. Under the direction of project staff from ISU and GTU’s Teaching Center, teacher teams will prepare, test, and evaluate electronic curriculum materials for 10 technical courses to be used in Gori and other community college campuses. Each course package will include a textbook, Powerpoint presentations, Internet and homework assignments, outreach activities, etc. In addition, lectures by GTU or ISU experts will be included. The travel category includes trips to Tbilisi by two members of the ISU team, i.e., airfare from Des Moines to Tbilisi, and hotel/perdiem for one week.
