Turnitin Tool Now Available through Blackboard
News - Latest
Tuesday, 18 November 2014 10:45

ISU has recently purchased a license to use the Turnitin software. Turnitin is a comprehensive, cloud-based program that helps faculty streamline grading. It allows faculty to make comments directly on the student’s work electronically thereby simplifying the process of providing personalized feedback. Research shows that personalized and timely feedback can be instrumental in helping students learn. Turnitin can also be used to facilitate peer-review of student work. An additional benefit of Turnitin is that students' work is checked for potential plagiarism by comparing their work against the world's largest comparison database.

Turnitin is available as an integrated Blackboard tool at ISU.  More information about Turnitin features and support options is available on the CELT website.
